9Platform tool process
1. Download platform tools
2. Extract
3. Install adb drivers
4. Put recovery.img (rename it to recovery.img) in platform tool folder
5. Connect phone and boot in fastboot mode
6. Type cmd in the bar that shows location of folder
7. Open terminal write - "fastboot devices"
if it shows a weird number it's connected
8. Write - "fastboot flash recovery recovery.img"
8. write - "fastboot boot recovery" or "fastboot boot recovery.img"
Done you're in recovery now install your rom.
