Flight Simulator 2020 EASY Autopilot for Beginners! In this quick video I will show you how to do a basic heading and altitude hold using the autopilot in the Cessna 172 equipped with the Garmin G1000 Glass cockpit. This can be very useful if you want screenshots or video using the showcase drone camera and need the plane to basically fly itself.

I was originally doing a very comprehensive multi-part video that does a deep dive on the G1000 and uses the flight planner in FS2020 along with Skyvector to create complex flight plans for the autopilot to execute including an auto-land but I wanted to get something up for folks that just have a need for this kind of function.
