The first time I heard this, I got goosebumps during Kanako's last spell card. And wow, I recorded this 2 years ago... Sure took me a long time to make this despite how much I love the track.

But yes, I really wanted to make a video for this just to get the scene of Kanako's Mountain of Faith attack synced up just right with the music. The torrent of rain along with the lighting, building up to the zoom in to Kanako looking very confident. She never stops smiling throughout the battle. And why wouldn't she when she has a Mountain of Faith at her disposal? Her face when she gets serious is a bit subtle, but still rather intimidating. Not Yuuka level, but I think that's a good thing.

Kanako's theme in the original MoF is pretty dang powerful and intimidating, but I don't think of or listen to it often, for whatever reason. It's weird since it's a really good track! But then there's this remix of it... I think the build up of the story with Reimu and the conflict involving the mountain youkai made getting to Kanako feel really serious and grand. It really warranted a track that had a strong presence for the end of this story arc, and the game delivered! The guitar, the drums, and even the thunder! Just really love the atmosphere of this battle.
