UPDATE TO THIS UPDATE:    • CLEAN OFF THE SLUDGE! - Salvaging the...   tl;dw: The damage is just to a top layer. It can be scrubbed off. What's left is usable, I hope HTC takes care of it still.

So the foam padding on the back of the new headstrap doesn't handle sweat?!?! This is obviously a huge issue and I /REALLY/ wish I found this sooner to let you guys know. I will update you all with whatever information I get from HTC.
