The past Carnival Event received a lot of negative feedback. Some players didn't have luck. Players doubt that the random generator used works as it should do. This frustration was a huge part of all comments, on YouTube as well as ingame. The event wasn't so much different than last year, but in the meantime the number of active players was doubled. And it is just natural that unhappy players are more motivated to comment than the lucky ones who enjoy and keep silent. My believe is, that if InnoGames wanted to learn something from this event, this is the most relevant thing: players dislike to rely on a random thing. Those who were active throughout the whole event deserve to receive the main prize. I think this is easy to understand.

With the upcoming spring event players will be very happy again. It has much less random effects and for active players it is guaranteed to get the grand prize, the Pagoda, on level 7. It will also become a part of your city soon, if you want.

InnoGames listened carefully to player's feedback and different of how it started on the beta server, they announced for the player worlds a selection kit as daily special. With it you can select between constructing a new level 1 building of the cherry garden set or to upgrade an existing building of the set to level 2. I think this is a great incentive to be very active in this coming event.
