Special Hint for the End of each Viking Settlement in Forge of Empires

Voicefromthedarkside wrote a comment below my Viking Strategy Video at my German YouTube channel, emphasizing that it is not necessary to have 6 goods production buildings simultaneously.

The quest says that you have to have 6 buildings, not that you have to construct them. But he was absolutely sure that it is enough to construct them one after another, which then requires less space and less population. This would make this last quest much easier.

As I checked exactly this on the beta server, I did not want to agree. To avoid other players being confused by it, I immediately responded to his comment.

Some other comments remarked that it would not be possible in the browser, only in the app. Such a different behaviour of browser and app version would be a bug and as such be reported to InnoGames in the forum.

As several players were absolutely sure, that it is definitely enough to build these 6 goods production buildings by one replacing the previous, I promised that I will check exactly this.

Therefore I started my 6th Viking settlement on the beta server. We now see the final part of it, still having a bit more than 1 day left to meet the deadline. All required goods are already produced and all building types have already been released. Only the final quest needs to be completed.

The mead hall that I had built would take 8 hours to be completed. That is too much. Therefore I demolish the mead hall. Instead I build clan totems. I don't calculate much, I simply add as many clan totems as this map can have. In the end I have many more than I would have needed. But that is not a disadvantage.

After 1 hour the clan totems are finished and the required 1,200 diplomacy are exceeded by far. As demonstrated in previous videos, we now can demolish all diplomacy buildings. We no longer need diplomacy.

Now the relevant part starts.

I create some space on that outpost and construct an axe smith. I check the quest. The axe smith has been recognized. Up to here everything is as we expected.

Now I demolish that axe smith construction site. Indeed the quest still shows 1 of 6. The demolished goods production building is not substracted.

I build another axe smith. Now the quest reports that I already have 2 axe smiths. Once again I demolish the construction site immediately and I remain with the status 2 of 6.

I build the 3rd axe smith and demolish it again. The 4th and demolish it. The 5th and demolish it. The 6th and the quest is completed.

Obviously InnoGames wanted to simplify this final part of the Viking outpost a bit. We all appreciate this relief. I think that this was worth a video as everybody should know about that. Otherwise it would not be fair.
