FoEhints: My City on DE-Noarsil in Forge of Empires
176Especially in my German channel players often requested that I should show my city, what I am doing there and why. I am happy to do that today.
On the German world Noarsil I just entered the Oceanic Future. I think the look of my city is very typical for a city in that stage of the game: You only see the Town Hall and very few buildings from the current Era. Instead the event buildings dominate the city.
I have the usual great buildings. These are the great buildings to improve my fighting bonuses: The Statue of Zeus, Cathedral of Aachen, Castel del Monte and Arctic Orangery. The the Temple of Relics to get most from the guild expedition. I also have the Innovation Tower for enough population, the Arc to get more forge points and blueprints, and the Royal Albert Hall to have enough unrefined goods.
I believe that this is a very good foundation for someone who fights the guild expedition every week. Only the Cape Canaveral could be added, but I never had the opportunity to do that. I decided not to have the Chateau Frontenac in this city. Beside my many videos I simply don't have time for many quests. I even stopped doing the daily challenges, although they give great rewards. My next great building will be the Kraken.
By the Mad Scientist's Laboratory you will recognize that I started a bit before the Halloween event 2015. Since then I moved forward slowly through the ages. 3 years until the Oceanic Future is not too fast.
A look on the town hall shows that coin boosts are not important for me. 200% supply boost from the Royal Albert Hall is not much for the Oceanic Future, but enough to always have the supplies I need.
In the meantime I have 178% attack boost. The last 8% came from the Pirate Ship. My attacking units have a defensive bonus of 102%. This shows that I leveled some of my great buildings with fighting bonus above level 10. This does not help much, but I do so when I don't have much time to play. I then just throw my forge points into these buildings. Of course a Terracotta Army would be a good combination and I already have most of it's blueprints, but this has to wait until the Virtual Future.
I collect 161 Forge Points every day. 35 of these are from my terrace farms. The Innovation Tower, the Castel del Monte and the Arctic Orangery also provide forge points. Most come from my many event buildings. Currently I use all my forge points in the technology tree to pass the Oceanic Future as fast as possible. This technology tree is extremely long. The Oceanic Future has been published through a full year in 6 different parts. I hope that I will make it much faster.
Not very typical are my many Tribal Squares. I use these as long as I have enough space and currently these are my main source of goods. When I need space, I just destroy these. I receive many more in the guild expedition.
Often players ask whether or not I spent real money for this game. Yes, I once bought the big diamonds package. This allowed me to buy the expansions. Now I receive my diamonds from the guild expedition.
A bit unusual are my many rogue hideouts, especially as these are all fully equipped. These are from the time when I fought a lot in gvg. For the guild expedition a single rogue hideout would have been enough. Currently I am not doing much gvg any more. I have to have priorities.
Summary: I think my city is a very typical example for a fighting player in the upper middle of the ranking list, currently on position 560. I am using each event completely without spending diamonds there. As a result you see these many event buildings in my city. It is not my intention to push all great buildings to extremely high levels. I think I am a good example for an average player who plays the game regularly, but beside many other important activities. I have a job which needs my full focus, and my YouTube channels which make real fun, but also require a lot of time. This often leaves only little time for this great game.
