FoEhints: The Virtual Future in Forge of Empires
The Virtual Future in Forge of Empires
For most players the Oceanic Future is still far away. But it is interesting to see how this games is taking progress. Today's video provides a sneak peek of how the seventeenth age in Forge of Empires will look like, the virtual future. Many thanks to ncshsg and Julian24.24. Without their support we would not have this information today.
Let's start with the new town hall. You notice already that the new era is highly influenced by Japanese middle age themes. Dragons with three toes, named Ryu, and the building's style are two elements that you will find in the whole era. It looks very good.
The two residential buildings continue this style. Of course today I still cannot tell you about required street connections, number of population or coins they provide. Today you only get a first impression, making you hungry to want more.
The supply productions are a mixture of medieval Japanese elements combined with futuristic technologies like holograms. This will produce a very unique mood in the city.
The good buildings also show how much they were inspired by the Japanese style. Possibly the terrace farms of the Japanese Amakusa islands were the model for two of them.
The new goods are named Data Crystals, Cryptocash, Golden Rice, Tea Silk and Nanites. The last one is a term from the nano technology. We soon will learn more about the background of these new goods.
The new military buildings also show design elements that we know from historical movies playing in Japan. Who would not recognize the Samurai or the Ninja?
The first revealed great building of the virtual future definitely has a Chinese background. This looks pretty much like the terracotta army from the mausoleum of the first Chinese emperor Qin Shihuangdis.
A decoration and the pvp tower have also been revealed.
That this is the new province map still has not been confirmed by InnoGames. The shape looking like Northern America we already know from the industrial age. But how does this match to the Japanese influence? It is just normal that along with very early information many questions are still open.
The new graphics look great and return much of the mood the game had during the middle ages. I definitely like the new elements very much and I am looking forward to have them in the game soon.
