Not far away from the tavern a part of a mountain was removed on the test center and you now will find a theater there. In the future all citizens from the bronze age and all later ages will be able to watch movies.
This is the way it works: You click on that new building and a canvas surrounded by curtains appears. There a commercial will be shown. If you watch the movie completely – and only then – you will receive a random reward.
Available rewards are coins, supplies, medals, one or two forge points or two or five goods of the current age.
Once you watched a video, the cinema will be locked for 4 hours. You cannot watch away all movies not leaving enough for others.
Independent of that 4 hour blocking time you can use similar advertisement for infiltration of sectors on the province map. A new button has been added there. Then you don't have to pay coins. Once you watched the commercial completely the sector is infiltrated. You can do that as often as you like.
My experience tells me that some will complain about advertising in a game. Even I would prefer that they show my video clips there. But I don't have the right to complain about advertising. Also YouTube inserts advertising in my videos. But honestly: These occasional rewards are not influencing the game balancing and nobody is forced to watch the commercials. Since other big players of the gaming industry like Electronic Arts added such features already years ago, it was only a matter of time that InnoGames also would open that profitable source of revenues. And then I prefer such an unobtrusive way which will not disturb the game play.
