Disclaimer: Be warned of flashing colors when the robot flies to space. The arcade version fades the sky color to a darker background color during that scene, however. Also, the arcade version has a booster to dock with to speed up the flight to space.

Formation Z is one of the Jaleco arcade classics I had played way back in my childhood or something although it is quite short with each loop taking 10-15 minutes to complete. The choice of enemy movement, placement or formation is randomized and there are patterns of various enemy types. Other things to look out for are the ones on the ground level. Needless to say, the mid-boss can be a pain at times.

Note: Starting in the year 2023, there will be some changes to the Premium and Free Tiers in Antstream Arcade service with those on Free Tier having more limited opportunity than before. When such changes take effect, don't bother complaining about Free Tier being more limited on social media, forum, Discord, etc. A more competent and complete experience takes place in games on consoles, PCs, mobile and arcades, not cloud gaming service.
