[Former World Record] OoT Any% Speedrun in 3:55.300!
256First place when set on Oct 15, 2022, this run beat the previous record from Murph_E by 0.166 seconds (only about 3 frames)! Some small time losses here and there. The biggest skill based timeloss was getting stuck at the corner of the wall after Return A, and the biggest timeloss overall was having to cut all 8 bushes to get the 7 RNG rupees needed to contest the record in the first place. A truly optimal run with perfect luck would probably be around a 3:51-3:52 with these strategies.
This run was performed on the Wii Virtual Console Japanese version of the game, which offers this fastest possible strategy to reach the end credits. We use the SRM glitch to turn the ground beneath our feet into a loading zone to the Know It All Bros' house, and also set a cutscene offset on that exit, triggering a credits warp.
