It is no secret, I play a great deal of Fortnite, I most likely play more than the majority of the STW gamers, and I have had hours of fun in the Frostnite challenges in casual games with people from the discord and with random groups. It's all good, it's all fun - but when I want to try-hard the challenge, the pl128 30 wave challenge… Things are not as bright at all.
It has been close to impossible to find a group to just play the mission with, and this is not just a random check the lobby thing. I've tried over and over, with different servers and for multiple days. So playing Frostnite pl128 without a premade is almost the same as the game of beggars can't be choser - You need to play with the 3 other people you may be lucky to find online that want to do the same!
Most of these games have been great, sometimes we only play 3, but often I find a team with 3 others once or twice per night. The game often runs smooth for the first 45ish minutes, that's the rather easy farm part of the game, but after the 43 minute taker wave I almost always see teleporting husks, burners that insta-down and walls that won't be placed for seconds.
I try to find groups based on auto-server selection, but also visit NAE (110ms) and NAW(150ms) in addition to EU (23ms) - and all servers run smooth for the first 30+ minutes!
