9Fortnite is set on Earth today. A global storm suddenly breaks out, wiping out his 98% of the world's population, and zombie-like creatures rise up and attack the rest of the people. Considered by Epic to be a cross between Minecraft and Left 4 Dead, Fortnite allows up to four players to work together on different missions on different maps to gather resources and build fortifications around defensive targets. to help fight the storm, and survivors protect and build weapons and traps to fight waves of these creatures that seek to destroy their targets. Through these missions, the player receives rewards to hero upgrade his character, support his team, and arsenal of weapons and trap schemes to be able to take on more challenging missions.
