Fortnite | Switch 2 vs Switch Oled
In this video: Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 3 - side by side comparison on Nintendo Switch 2 and Nintendo Switch Oled (handheld mode).
"On Nintendo SwitchOled, Fortnite runs at a dynamic resolution of ~1170×660 and a target of 30 fps, but in “hot” zones with a large number of players and effects, drops to 15–20 fps are not uncommon. In addition, there are delays in loading objects and artifacts like “ghost foliage” — especially when running from a micro-SD, so the internal storage helps improve stability. After the latest updates, the graphics have become slightly better, but are still limited by the portable power of the console.
At the same time, on Nintendo Switch2 in handheld mode, the game runs at a full resolution of 1600×900 with 60 fps, with virtually no frame drops even in battle-heavy scenes. Improvements in the drawing distance, textures, shadows, and physics are also visible."
