"On the Switch, the game runs at a dynamic resolution of around 576p, occasionally rising to 720p but more often dropping to 360p in busy scenes. The frame rate tends to 30 fps, but in reality often drops to 25 and below. Visually, the game looks very simplified: blurry textures, a noticeable lack of anti-aliasing, simplified lighting and long loading times when transitioning between zones, especially in cities like Hogsmeade.
On the Nintendo Switch 2, the updated version runs in native 1080p with HDR and DLSS support, making the picture noticeably sharper. The frame rate is stable at 30 fps, and transitions between zones happen almost instantly without visible loading. Textures, lighting effects, shadows and anti-aliasing quality have been significantly improved."
