A year has passed since the launch of the HSV GEN-F GTS, which is based on the VF Holden Commodore, Australia's leading performance car manufacturer has launched the most powerful ute ever made, the Maloo GTS.

Like the saloon equivalent, the GTS Maloo is powered by the 6.2 litre Supercharged LSA engine, the same engine that powers the Chevrolet Camaro ZL1, producing 430kw of power and 740Nm of torque, mated with either a 6-speed manual or automatic.

For the first time in a ute, the GTS Maloo comes with Torque Vectoring, which helps reduce understeer by generating a "rotational moment" in the rear axle when the vehicle is under power.

The GTS Maloo is limited to 250 vehicles, with 240 sold in the Australian market.
