Forza Motorsport: Fix Controller Not Working with Game Pass Version, Forza Motorsport:Fix PS5/PS4/Xbox Controller Not Working, Fix Forza Motorsport Controller issues/problems
Step 1) Restart the game
Step 2) Make sure to disconnect other peripherals such as mouse/keyboard, additional joystick, controllers. Unplug Razer Tartarus, Unplug VR/Windows Mixed Reality Headsets, disconnect all the additional USB adapter connected to PC, disconnect if you have any virtual controller connected (Vjoy etc.), disable/uninstall them
Step 3) Enable Steam Input- Restart the game
Step 4) If Controller is connected via USB instead of Bluetooth, then connect your controller via Bluetooth, unplug the USB cable
Step 5) Disable Steam Input, now go to Steam Controller Settings and enable Steam Input for Xbox/PlaStation Controllers- restart the game
Step 6) Disable Steam Input in Steam Controller Settings
Step 7) (Game Pass Users): Use DS4 Windows, worked for many game pass users but you may see Xbox buttons instead of PlayStation, it may require restart or re plug controller to get it work
Step 8) Game Pass Users- Close Steam completely also make sure no other app is pulling your controller- Restart the game
Step 9) Steam Users: Enable/Disable Overlay, restart the game, close all the overlay apps
Step 10) Go to Steam's controller setting and enable generic controller support
Step 11) Launch Steam in big picture mode and then launch the game.
Step 12) Use wired controller
Step 13) Run the game as an administrator
Step 14) Open Xbox App
