The early part of this game might be brutal, but once you're over the hump things really come together. Getting the grail, the extra revolver ammo, and then the machine gun all cascade together to make the latter part of the game a more traditional FPS and less of a resource management survival horror scenario. Game is on the whole a solid and worthwhile experience.
