If you remember with markiplier's video, he discussed that youtube the website is broken because after announcing the removal of google+, they tried to do something to the code of google+ but since youtube is so integrated with google+, it caused a huge code bug, shuting down the youtube servers for the first time in youtube's history, and after getting the servers running again, causing major notification problems and some youtube links and links in the creator studio don't work right now. I think that is the main reason why riot's channel isn't back yet, is they are focusing on fixing youtube.
