This is the eighth mission of the Aftermath (Cold Element) campaign for the Freespace Port. It is 2335 six months after the defeat of the GTI rebellion and destruction of the GTD Hades. We occupy the character of a Terran pilot recently reassigned to the GTD Ark Royal from the GTD Soyakaze. Vasudan Intelligence has information related to the plague and has offered it to us. We must oversee a highly classified document transfer in deep space, protecting the Vasudan freighters Alphor and Bek as they dock with the GTSC Berkley. The operation is highly classified and taking place away from shipping lanes where a ship might accidentally stumble upon us, so we are authorized to exercise immediate force against any vessel that interferes.
