This is the third mission of the Aftermath (Cold Element) campaign for the Freespace Port. It is 2335 immediately after the defeat of the GTI rebellion and destruction of the GTD Hades. We occupy the character of a Terran pilot recently reassigned to the GTD Ark Royal from the GTD Soyakaze. The science cruiser we captured last mission was carrying a high level medical research lab in its work bays, so Command suspects it had something to do with the plague, but GTI has been able to garner no further information. Meanwhile, the GTA must continue attempts to research a cure or treatment. Owing to the unrest in Epsilon Pegasi, this research must be classified. Our mission is to escort a science convoy through an asteroid field to a safe zone, guarding against both asteroid damage and potential Shivan attacks.
