This is the ninth mission of the Aftermath (Cold Element) campaign for the Freespace Port. It is 2335 six months after the defeat of the GTI rebellion and destruction of the GTD Hades. We occupy the character of a Terran pilot recently reassigned to the GTD Ark Royal from the GTD Soyakaze. We are currently in the Antares system. The information the Vasudans have given us combined with what we have gathered on our own has revealed that the renegade faction of the GTI was not so defeated as previously thought. A section that had been working on a bioweapon based on Shivan technology escaped the destruction of the Jotunheim installation and fallen under the command of one Colonel Valaris, head of the code named Project 13. Why they have chosen to unleash the plague in Epsilon Pegasi remains unclear.

Meanwhile, the Hammer of Light strike force that attacked us a week ago is in Antares, and recon has sighted their destroyer, the Petamek, taking on supplies with its jump drive cold. We must seize this opportunity to destroy a key enemy asset. Flying bombers, we must destroy the Hammer of Light ship, interdict escaping transports, and destroy their supply depot.
