This is the eighth mission of the Blackwater Operations campaign for Freespace 2. We occupy the role of Commander Aidan Mallory, freshly assigned to command the 101st Blackwater Squadron, Special Operations Command. With the misunderstanding between the GTVA and Sol Coalition sorted out and an armistice signed, the GTVA is making reparations for the attack. As part of this, we're flying a series of goodwill missions, providing medical ships and transports to move the wounded from Neptune to a hospital station near Mars. The Scion of Vasuda has run the Charon Station blockade with several ships, and so we're deploying to escort the convoy to the hospital.
