Freespace 2: Blackwater Operations - Spinning Plates
7This is the second mission of the Blackwater Operations campaign for Freespace 2. We occupy the role of Commander Aidan Mallory, freshly assigned to command the 101st Blackwater Squadron, Special Operations Command. The GTCv Tripoli is carrying vital components for the Sol Gateway project to Delta Serpentis, and GTVI has learned that Admiral Ahmose's Scion of Vasuda forces plan to launch an attack on the Tripoli as it recharges its jump drives after transiting the node for the final jump to Charon Station. We must join the 70th Blue Lions to reinforce the escort in order to ensure the Tripoli and its accompanying freighters make it to their destination.
