This is the fourth mission of the Blackwater Operations campaign for Freespace 2. We occupy the role of Commander Aidan Mallory, freshly assigned to command the 101st Blackwater Squadron, Special Operations Command. The Herschel installation in Delphi has fallen out of contact, and we are being dispatched to investigate. Whatever happened, there has been no distress call or even disaster beacon, and there's no indication the station has gone rogue, so Command fears the worst.
