This is the twenty-fourth mission of the Renegade Resurgence campaign for Freespace 2. I had intended to go into Freespace Blue, but I recently heard the news that TopAce, a prolific mod creator and contributor at Hard Light Productions who created this campaign, has sadly passed away. I'm playing his campaigns in his honor. We occupy the role of a pilot assigned to the 99th Skulls elite squadron. In today's mission we are transferred to the GTD Carthage and will precede her into the Epsilon Mira system. Our task is to clear the local area to allow the GTA Houston, a Charybdis class AWACS ship, to safely jump in and scan the system. If resistance is extreme we have authorization to scrub the mission and return to base.
