This is the twenty-fifth and final mission of the Renegade Resurgence campaign for Freespace 2. I had intended to go into Freespace Blue, but I recently heard the news that TopAce, a prolific mod creator and contributor at Hard Light Productions who created this campaign, has sadly passed away. I'm playing his campaigns in his honor. We occupy the role of a pilot assigned to the 99th Skulls elite squadron. In today's mission we are to launch a full scale assault on the renegade headquarters, a heavily armed station with beam armament comparable to the GTVA Colossus. We are flying the strike role against the remains of the enemy fleet. Though the briefing curiously does not spell it out, this obviously means destroying a whole lot of beam cannons so as not to lose our entire task force.
