This is the alternate eighteenth mission of the Renegade Resurgence campaign for Freespace 2. I had intended to go into Freespace Blue, but I recently heard the news that TopAce, a prolific mod creator and contributor at Hard Light Productions who created this campaign, has sadly passed away. I'm playing his campaigns in his honor. We occupy the role of a pilot assigned to the 122nd Gemini, GTD Phoenicia. One of GTVI's agents has planted a listening device on the bridge of the renegade destroyer RTD Archon. Telemetry is good and we are receiving intelligence from the device, but our agent believes his cover may be blown and requests extraction. He is aboard an Argo transport in the destroyer's hangar. Our task is to disarm the destroyer's beam cannons so he can safely launch and make his escape.
