This is the twenty-first mission of the Renegade Resurgence campaign for Freespace 2. I had intended to go into Freespace Blue, but I recently heard the news that TopAce, a prolific mod creator and contributor at Hard Light Productions who created this campaign, has sadly passed away. I'm playing his campaigns in his honor. We occupy the role of a pilot assigned to the 99th Skulls elite squadron. The renegade forces are on the run. They have abandoned Vasuda Prime and fallen back to Aldebaran and Altair. While the main body of the fleet occupies renegade forces in Aldebaran, we are leading a capture operation against a flotilla of renegade-controlled science vessels recon has located in a remote corner of the system. GTVI believes that these vessels collectively have access to the renegades' database, so we must capture them all. Our task is to clear the area of enemy military assets and disable the science vessels for our transports to effect their capture.
