Freespace: Silent Threat Reborn - Abandon Hope
3This is the seventeenth mission of the Silent Threat Reborn fan campaign for the Freespace Port. The Hades, rather than traveling to Vega as the attack on the Egyptos station suggested, has been sighted making for the jump node to Deneb. We must perform a recon sweep of the ship to scan its subsystems to analyze for weaknesses. The science ship GTSC Herschel will monitor the operation and scramble its own sensor signature to prevent effective targeting by the Hades.
As you can see from my concurrent playthrough of the original Silent Threat, the Freespace Port team wasn't given a whole lot to work with for this remake. I am doing the original campaign and this remake side by side since they depict the same events (in different ways).
