The video accompaniment to the comparison of Combat School (also known as "Boot Camp" in North America), originally released to the arcades by Konami in 1987. Home conversions for the Commodore 64, Sinclair ZX Spectrum 48/128k and Amstrad CPC published by Ocean Software (Imagine) in 1987. Commodore 64 version's Americanized version, as well as the IBM-PC conversion were released by Konami in 1989.

All footage of the Ocean Software conversions are recorded using real hardware, while the arcade and DOS versions were captured with emulation. Loading sequences are largely skipped, with only the loading screens shown, as well as some of the music heard from the C64 tape version.
