Space Hulk Deathwing is a niche game that draws an audience who are familiar with the 1993 Space Hulk video game that placed players in command of a squad of heavily-armed, heavily-armoured elite Terminators in the Warhammer 40,000 universe as they purge ancient, derelict “space hulks” infested with innumerable swarms of Tyranids.

The Enhanced Edition of the game made various improvements and introduced a system of unlocking abilities, upgrades, perks and skins through gaining experience. Players who own the original Space Hulk Deathwing receive the Enhanced Edition for free, but they must install it separately on Steam.

In this video, I play alongside three other Terminators on a server with friendly-fire and Codex rules enabled, hardest difficulty and the words “No noobs allowed”. It was harsh, gruelling but very enjoyable. In my opinion, this is the way the game was meant to be played, as it reminds me of the intro for the Space Hulk game from 1993...
