I finally start the Campaign mode with some trepidation: my last campaign back in 2015 did not inspire me with confidence. This time though I have a fleet of battle-tested ships and an evolving philosophy of submarine dominance which I hope will serve me well.

The first order of business: get rid of that crappy starter fortress and spawn in my own blandly named Resource Barge. It's like it was named by someone with clinical depression, but it's accurate. It's an armed barge for collecting resources and it is far superior to the crappy starter fortress.

Second order of business: declare war on the Deepwater Guard. And build ships of course, so they don't stomp my little uprising out like a scorpion underfoot.
