The Hexxed Branch is a mount item which summons a rideable Tree Mount. It is dropped by the Mourning Wood in Master mode with a 1/4 (25%) chance.
It is a ground-based mount, capable of reaching a max speed of 81 mph when travelling horizontally; however, the mount is unable to fly. While travelling at full speed, enemies in its path will be hit by 120 base summon damage. Its maximum diagonal speed is 96 mph, achieved by jumping off a ledge at full speed.
Notes
The Hexxed Branch is the fastest ground-based mount in the game. It is 1 mph slower than the fastest flying mount, the Black Spot, and the fastest swimming mount, the Shrimpy Truffle (both achieve 82 mph horizontally).
Trivia
The buff's tooltip "Run, forest, run!" is a pun based off the famous line from the movie Forrest Gump.
The Pumpkin Scented Candle is a Master mode-exclusive light pet-summoning item dropped by the Pumpking, with a 1/4 (25%) drop rate. When used or equipped, it summons a miniature Pumpking.
The Toy Tank is a mount-summon item that spawns a rideable Santa-NK1. It is dropped by the Santa-NK1 in Master mode.
The mount is notable for having a double jump as well as two auto-targeting weapons attached; a front-facing machine gun and a homing rocket launcher.
The maximum movement speed of the mount is 41 mph, and it takes about 1.5 seconds to reach top speed. The maximum jump height is 12 blocks without a double jump, or 26 blocks with the double jump when timed right. The double jump can be stacked with other double jump accessories. The tank is 2 blocks wide and 3 blocks tall, making it easier to mine with than larger mounts such as The Black Spot.
The two attached weapons target Enemies in a cone shaped area in front of the player up to 30 blocks away. The machine gun does around 80-120 damage on a normal hit. Combined with its fast rate of fire, that makes this mount a reliable weapon. The homing rockets do around 100-131 damage on a normal hit. Once shot from the tank, homing rockets seek the closest target, including targets that did not cause it to fire such as ones behind the player. The damage dealt does not scale with any modifiers the player has.
