[MISSION V: CHOOSING SIDES]
- Bring Tassadar and two Zealots to the Installation Entrance
Your starting base is situated on an island, and comes in with an expansion with gas. The Zerg will attack in this mission by air by sending overlords that drop Zerglings and Hydralisks; and in the case of the Purple Zerg, they'll send Infested Terrans too. They'll also send Mutalisks, with the occasional Guardian. Attacks will come from the south and the southeast.
With that said, build up your economy and try to take the expansion to your northeast early for more immediate resources. You will need to line up your island with Dragoons and Photon Cannons as defense. Build up your economy and tech up to a Robotics Facility. Also have a Templar Archives for Hallucination research.
For your attacking force, you will need a fleet of Scouts. Use Hallucinations as decoys when attacking especially when luring the Scourges and the Spore Colonies. I added some Reavers inside shuttles to my attacking force so I can clear a path to the beacon and for quicker destruction of enemy structures. Once the path to the beacon is cleared, send Tassadar and two Zealots to the beacon finish this mission. Be aware that if the shuttle carrying Tassadar is destroyed, the mission is lost.
For additional expansions - there are two choices - a Mineral-only expansion to the far northeast but it has Terran structures you need to destroy. Destroying them will prompt the spawning of a group of wraiths and a Battlecruiser - your scouts should be able to make short work of them.
The second choice is the center island. Destroy the Zerg defenses there and take the resources for yourself. This one has another Vespene geyser that you can take.
