So here's the map called "Wiz War" for WarCraft II. Normally, this would have two players playing against four computer-controlled forces and is defaulted to play as Orcs. Seems that I ended up getting Humans since I had this on Random.
Anyways, the players are situated on an island surrounded by a narrow ring of water which has Cannon Towers. You would want to build up your economy and traverse the tech tree fast since you start out with a decently large stockpile of resources. If you're playing on solo, it's a good idea to take the other gold mine on the island as an extra source of gold income. You would want to get a Battleship/Juggernaut on the water to deal with the Cannon Towers and to the Castle/Fortress stage as soon as possible once I bring up details about the enemy composition in this map.
There are four enemy forces in this map and they consist of Lordaeron (White), Gilneas (Black), Alterac (Orange) and Alliance Traitors (Yellow). The most threatening enemy is Lordaeron in the southeast due to them starting with a ridiculous number of barracks allowing them to mass troops fast so you'd want to get rid of them as soon as possible. A large force of troops and Mages with Blizzard or if you're playing as Orcs, DK's with Death and Decay makes short work of Lordaeron's base.
Gilneas in the northeast is a potential threat if left unwatched but there's a workaround. Their peasants are most likely to build an expansion in a gold mine found in the Center-Northeast section of the map - you would want to park a few Gryphons or Dragons to kill their peasants or stop their Town Hall from getting built. They can be taken down the same way as Lordaeron through overwhelming them with huge waves of troops with Mages/DK's dealing with the Towers.
Next enemy is Alterac in the northwest which tends to serve as the most recurring nuisance in this map. They tend to spam a lot of Gryphon Riders so make sure to have a lot of Anti-Air, I've been blindsided by a few of their Gryphons after destroying their base. Destroying their base can be done through Mages or DK's using Blizzard or Death and Decay to deal with Towers before unleashing a huge wave of ground forces for clean up.
The last enemy we'll discuss are the Alliance Traitors found in the southwest. They are the weakest enemy as they have a Sea Attack script tacked on them which makes them the easiest enemy to disrupt. The best approach here is to stop their Shipyards from getting built or destroying their Oil Platforms as soon as possible through Battleships/Juggernauts. Cutting them off from their oil income causes them to stagnate making them incapable of sending Knights, Footmen, Ballistae and ships against you. Since their base is small, they can be taken down by your ground forces.
Be aware that Alterac and Lordaeron also has some scattered Mage Towers, Gryphon Aviaries and Barracks in the map - destroy them too. Once all enemy presence is gone, you win.
By the way, there are some rescuable units in this map - a total of six Mages from the Kul'Tiras (Green) and Dalaran (Purple) factions found in the center right corner of the map. However, since they are not Rescue-Passive units, they'll likely attack enemies with fireballs or get killed by Alteraci Gryphons. It's a matter of luck whether you can get to them or not.
