FTB Speedplay #12 - Infinite trees
1In this episode:
The first step to a stable, medium power and infinite power source: a treefarm. I should have made this earlier, but I feel that for several things and I guess it is hard to make everything earlier....
I prefer Steve's carts treefarm to forestry treefarms, it just feels better with a woodcutting robot cart instead of invisible woodcutters. There are pros and cons with both, but this time I picked Steve. The only tricky part is to understand the cargo manager/distributor, because it looks very confusing at first. But after some playing around it is actually not that bad. At least not for basic functionality.
A good thing to live near a cave with a mine shaft inside is that I didn't have to build all the tracks needed for the build :) Otherwise I would have to build a coke oven and mess around with creosote oil for all the tracks.
Now I have plenty of saplings and wheat to move on to biofuel power in larger scale, looking forward to that!
I disovered a typo after rendering and upload, can you find it? ;)
Also, I tested a new intro style. I will try to improve that as well as time goes.
