NOTE: Apologies for the lag in one particular asteroid field fight; I am happy to report it is at least not *too* persistent. But, I'll look into that for the future; as much-improved as the recording setup is, it could still always be better.

We have an uncharacteristically strong offense *and* defense going into sector 5, with 3 shields providing a good level of comfort. But FTL doesn't necessarily care if you think you're ahead; it only takes one beacon to spawn an out-of-depth monster that makes you seriously reconsider your loadout.

Enemy ships are also starting to get strong enough that a Halberd Beam alone won't do the job, so if I have to start hacking shields, that's less mitigation on their weapons. A tricky balancing act to get just right, even if it seems our safety net is better than usual.
