Full Control of AI in Tools and IDEs with Theia AI and the Theia IDE

As proprietary AI tools and IDEs increasingly dominate the market, they often limit flexibility, transparency, and extensibility. Theia AI, an open-source framework, offers a powerful alternative by enabling companies to build tailored, AI-enhanced tools and IDEs with full control over their AI integration. In this talk, we will showcase Theia AI’s capabilities through its adoption in the Theia IDE, demonstrating features such as AI-driven code completion, terminal assistance, and command support.
