GPU Profiling and Debugging with Sokatoa Built on Theia

In this lightning talk, we introduce Sokatoa, an innovative tool for GPU profiling, analysis, and debugging workflows for Android, built on the Theia platform.
We will demonstrate Sokatoa in action, showcasing its custom navigation system, custom views, flexible tab management, and how it seamlessly integrates components like Perfetto or Theia’s code editor. The talk will highlight how the extensibility of Theia allowed us to efficiently implement our usability concept. Further we show how we easily extended the platform with backend plugins to meet the specific needs of our project.
Attendees will walk away with insights into how Theia’s platform capabilities can be leveraged to build powerful, domain-specific tools, like Sokatoa, with ease and flexibility.
