The long awaited Skirk is here! I ended up giving up on my Chiori constellations saga for now to be able to secure at least a C0R0 Skirk because she looks to cool to pass (plus dual wielding is my weak spot). Skirk is looking really strong, but also really restrictive with her team, and I think people might feel like she can't perform well without her premium team. With that in mind, even though I do have her premium team in my account, I figured I could try to make a FULL F2P more relatable run with 4*s only, so here we are~

1st Half really wants you to use Pyro, and considering my account's Pyro situation isn't that great, I had to stick with the usual Mavuika, BUT- with a craftable 4* weapon and a 4* only team. An unusual team at that too, not going either Melt or Vape. C6 Chevreuse does make a significant difference for this team while not being that relatable, but considering my Iansan is also C0 and a Melt/Vape team would probably perform better, I think it's still a decent take on a f2p run.

Skirk's team was one that looked good on paper but I wasn't sure if it would work on practice. Thankfully, it did! Mika gives defensive utility, ATK Speed for Skirk and Noblesse, Layla provides a shield (which is important for Skirk with Calamity of Eshu) and Millelith, while Candace provides Hydro application for Skirk's passive and the Normal Attack buff that Skirk greatly enjoys. Despite Mika, Layla and Candace all having short buffs, with the right rotation it works! Also, though I have all 3 of them at C6, the team would still function very similarly with just C0 Layla/Mika and C1 Candace. In hindsight, I also should've put Noblesse on Candace and Ocean Hued or Songs of Days Past on Mika to better synergize with the rotation, the team would perform a bit better with that. Regardless, save for the somewhat scuff Ch2 , these teams managed to get very good times despite each being only 1 Cost each!

And for the music: one of the points that sold Skirk for me is how similar she is to Zero from Drakengard 3 in a number of ways, so made a point of finally using some Drakengard 3 tunes this time. Now, fitting both The Final Song and The Black Song in the video was a bit hard, due to both of them starting and ending slow, which doesn't fit with combat so much, but after some brainstorming I think I managed to make them work. Hope you like how they go with the video!

Furthermore, I'd say the style of this video is inspired by Sireula, F2PKeqing and Ken Rurouni in parts, so shoutout to them, and a large influence on this series has come from content creators like Xlice, Tuonto and Enviosity. Thanks for being inspirations! :3
