With E2 Castorice and Jiaoqiu in tow, my first True 0 Cycle is here! c:

Heyo Saplings, as some of you may know, I'm a sucker for dragons, so I had been waiting to pull hard on Castorice ever since we knew she'd have one. Furthermore, my E2 Acheron had been waiting for her Fox Man every since I didn't manage to get him in his 1st run (lost the 50/50), so now here we are, and with the power these two teams have, I managed my very first full 0 cycle!

Now, although I managed to get myself E2S1 Castorice, that meant I had to skip Tribbie entirely, locking Cas out of her current BiS team. However, since I had already gotten S1 Sunday for my DHIL and had a E1S1 Ruan Mei for a while now, it means I can still make do. Adding to that, the Pollux boss in this MoC's first node is basically made for Castorice, as it's Fragrance of Death mechanic reduces all party members' HP to 1 when it starts, and fully heals the party when it's dispelled, giving Cas an almost full Ultimate charge if things are timed correctly. On top of that, the current MoC Turbulence works very well for Cas since the majority of her damage comes from her's and (our) Pollux's Skill Damage. In truth, it felt a bit like cheating to use E2 Castorice in this boss lol, but hey, we take those! Also worth mentioning: Rememberance Trailblazer and Sunday's speed tuning allowed for this rotation to work, along with full Energy Recharge (Post-Op Conversation) Gallagher.

For the 2nd Node, now that I have Jiaoqiu, my Acheron team was my best bet, but although it was close I couldn't quite reach a 0 Cycle in my first attempts with a normal team with Sustain (Lingsha or Aventurine). After understanding a little better how the Banana boss works, and seeing the possibilities of Acheron stack farming + turn timing, I realized that sustainless was very doable without too much risk. We still had to deal with some ammount of RNG, like how many times Robin/Jiaoqiu would get hit for Energy and who the TVs would restore Energy to. All in all it was all about making sure the turns would line up to make the most use of the right channel on the TVs.

As for the music choices... with Dragons, Flowers, Death and a Cocoon much like a Seed of Ressurrection, I've been planning to bring in some Drakengard tunes ever since I thought of making a Castorice video c: . At first I intended on using Growing Wings from Drakengard 1, but it turned difficult to match the vibes of a battle, so I ended up using Vein of Grief from DG2 instead, which turned out to match this specific run surprisingly well. Anyway, hope you enjoy! (PS: I might try to use Growing Wings in a future Castorice video- we'll see.)

Furthermore, I'd say the style of this video is inspired by Zmm, Braxophone and Dreamy in parts, so shoutout to them, and a large influence on this series has come from content creators like Hidekai, Ruri Goko and REHOO. Thanks for being inspirations! :3
