This video covers a part of Unit 1 (Straight Lines and Functions) of the present syllabus of Business Mathematics-I for the first semester of BBA and BBM courses, prescribed by Tribhuvan University. Functions and inverse functions are discussed in this video. We primarily focus on following things:
i) identifying whether a given equation represents a function or not;
ii) on finding inverse of a function whenever it is possible.
The primary textbook being followed is Business Mathematics-I by Prof. Dr. Bhanu Chandra Bajracharya (Prof. Dr. B. C. Bajracharya). ALL OF THE related questions in Exercise 1.2 of this textbook are solved in this video.
Even though the textbook and the prescribed syllabus include these topics in the first unit, these topics shall reappear in units 3 and 4.
