Is FYDE a Chinese OS?
FydeOS (formerly Flint OS) is an open-source, cloud-driven operating system from China that offers similar browser-like computing experience as any other Chromium OS.
Can FydeOS run Android apps?
At present, the Android subsystem and related functions of FydeOS can only be adapted to Intel series graphics cards. Therefore, not all hardware devices can use the Android subsystem after installing FydeOS.
What is FydeOS based on?
Chromium OS
Since FydeOS is based on Chromium OS, even if it's more limited than Windows, Linux, or macOS, it definitely works as a lightweight operating system with web browsing capabilities and (now) full Android app support. FydeOS simply takes Android app support from Chromebooks and brings it to x86 PCs.
Does FydeOS have Play Store?
FydeOS currently presets "FydeOS App Store" and "Coolapk" (Android Subsystem Only) in the system, where you can get tens of thousands of extensions, Chrome apps, and Android apps.
