I just got this brand new laptop for Wifey to use for college and her digital artwork. I wanted to do an unboxing and review for anybody else out there who might be shopping for a similar use case. I got the maximum upgraded version of this laptop, but what I love about it is there are so many options for every budget! I will list some of the configurations available below to help you if you are shopping.
If you need a Graphics Processing Unit (GPU, or Video Card basically) then the links above have some good options. If you know you don't need a GPU like I knew Wifey doesn't need one then this Samsung Galaxy Book Pro 360 is a really good option. None of the other options had an AMOLED screen which is so vibrant and beautiful I think that alone is worth buying.
This configuration has a 15 inch screen and i7 processor and 16GB of RAM and 1TB of NVMe SSD Storage. That was the max configuration available from Samsung's website. I've seen configurations with more RAM and Storage on Amazon's website which I found pretty interesting. They were also higher priced and very low stock which on Amazon is usually a red flag. Maybe they will get better prices and stock soon though so I would encourage you to check back often using the links above and see if they restock and the prices get better.
If you are looking for financing options there are really good options at the Samsung website through their in-house Samsung Financing. This is a credit account that you can pay as little as $30 a month for your new computer with $0 down. I use this option to build my credit score and it also helps to not have to pay the full price of the laptop up front. It was really nice to check out for $0 and have the laptop shipped to me the next day. As long as you pay on time and complete all your payments then it will improve your credit score over time. This is an easy way to build credit.
