Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra: Is Samsung's super-sized tablet finally a laptop replacement?
With a 14.5in display, Samsung's Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra is one of the biggest tablets around. Throw in the widescreen aspect ratio, 16GB RAM option, and optional keyboard cover, and this begins to look a lot like a 14in laptop.
It helps that Samsung has optimised the S8 Ultra's Android software for multi-tasking, and offers a DeX mode that replicates the Windows experience pretty well. And hey, the notch might look weird, but those two front-facing cameras are far better than any webcam you'll find on a laptop these days.
So is the Tab S8 Ultra really ready to be a full laptop replacement? Or does it's $1,000+ price tag mean it's competing with laptops that could run rings round it?
