With the successful run this took around 47 minutes. I was initially playing on normal. I knocked it down to easy just to get familiar with the game and beat it the first time.
I got far in my normal attempt but did not complete that mode yet. The key is to not let off the accelerator. Keep it held down the entire time if possible. Its ok to slow down maybe once or twice in a race, but every time you do that you lose time since it takes time to accelerate back up to speed. I found it best to keep that forward momentum and just dodge. Never used brakes either. The idea is to carry over excess time to the next rounds, which makes it easier to do on one credit then having to continue.
