Game Composer Highlight: Tamayo Kawamoto
83Tamayo Kawamoto is a name not many will think of when they think video game composers. She is not very well known, but if you're a fan of shoot em' up games, you probably ran into some of her work. Most of her career focused around shooting games, whether it's from the very first ones ever such as Exed Exes or Legendary Wings, or more recent games such as Ray Force or Thunder Force VI.
She worked for Capcom when they were just starting out, but left to join Taito. Later she formed her very own band called Betta Flash. The very last song in this video is from Betta Flash. Very little is known about Tamayo Kawamoto, but her music should not be overlooked. She is a master of Melodies.

UPDATE: The music for the game " Son Son" was NOT composed by Tamayo. It was in fact composed by Ayako Mori, another former Capcom composer. Please excuse this mistake.
