For my first project in my Game Design Class, we were to find a game that had mechanical problems, recreate those problems in a 2D representation, and then fix those problems. I chose Big Rigs: Over The Road Racing and the problems to fix were 1) lack of opponent racer AI (he doesn't move) 2) no collision detection 3) no music 4) no sounds.
