Step 1 of the End Game for Game Dev Tycoon: get started with the Research Lab. There is a lot you can do there in order to put your company over the top, but first you have to get your team with the right skills and the right specializations.

Also note that PC is a great platform because it has no audience penalty and is cheap to develop on, but if you ignore your engine you will be screwed. Use those Research Points wisely.
